Proper storage of your Iontophoresis device and accessories is crucial to prevent damage. When storing the device, especially if it was previously in a case that had water inside, ensure that the case and all parts are fully dry before placing them back in the case for storage. Retained moisture can cause damage to electrical items, particularly to the battery charger which has exposed electrical components and a fuse in the plug. 

Additionally, store the device in a cool, dark area, such as inside a wardrobe. Avoid areas that can become too warm, like bathrooms or airing cupboards, as they can lead to moisture buildup within the case.

When using the mains style charger, it’s recommended to use a direct wall socket rather than extension leads, adapters or multi-plug connectors, as these can induce power surges that may damage the charger and cause the fuse in the plug head to blow.
